Do you live in a HUT?

So... we've been answering some of the most frequent questions we get from folks back home.

Here's a post about what we typically eat:

So for today:  Do you live in a HUT?
Well, No!

We live in Kigali, the largest city in Rwanda.  Kigali is the capital and has a population of about 1 million.

We live in a 2 story duplex with 3bdrm/2 baths.  We have normal household appliances with the exception of a dishwasher and dryer.

Dining room, why yes, that is a refrigerator smack in the middle of our Dining/Living room, but I'm just thankful to have one, even though it's awkwardly placed.  (It doesn't fit in the kitchen)

We have 2 other bedrooms that are shared between 5 boys but I couldn't catch a day when they looked clean enough to photograph :)

So there you have it--our 'hut'.

Compared to our 900 sq/ft, fifth floor apartment in China, this 1400 sq/ft townhouse feels like a castle!
